Honoring heroes: 43d AMOG welcomes WWII vets

Col. Kelly Holbert, 43d Air Mobility Operations Group commander, pins a World War II victory medal on Elmer Roy, a World War II veteran and former member of the 43d Bombardment Group, during a ceremony here Sept. 8. Roy served in the 43d BG during World War II, and was supposed to receive the medal upon his return from the war, but never received it.
