    43d AMOG Airmen support delivery of U.S., UK paratroopers to Europe during SR18

    Airmen in the 43d Air Mobility Operations Group at Pope Army Airfield, N.C., played a key role in Exercise Swift Response 2018 (SR18), contributing to transport of U.S. paratroopers from the 82nd Airborne Division from Fort Bragg, and British Paratroopers from the 3rd Battalion The Parachute Regiment, Colchester, England. The paratroopers arrived in Latvia with the assistance of various mobility aircraft supporting SR18 on June 9, 2018.
