On Friday, Team Pope celebrated its 2nd Annual Pope World Tour at the Airman's Center. 20 participants showcased their countries' food, culture, and music with amazing displays of colors, flags, and language. The diversity of the Team Pope community was in full display as crowds flocked to each booth for a mouthwatering sample of cuisine that, for some was a first-time experience. But that wasn't all. Ever wondered how those Origami cranes were made? The Japan booth had you covered. Ever thought about learning to Hula dance? The Hawaii booth had a demonstration and lessons! But, if you really wanted to burn some calories from all the food, those who joined the Columbian dance group Merequetengue from El Centro in Fayetteville definitely earned their dessert! Shout out to Team Pope's A1C Marta Angulo Burgos for organizing the event and Mr. Matt Wilson the Team Pope Community Support Coordinator for making it happen!
