Chief Master Sergeant Jerry E. Brammer

Chief Master Sergeant Jerry E. Brammer serves as the Command Chief Master Sergeant, 43d Air Mobility Operations Group, Pope Army Airfield, North Carolina. He is the advisor to the Commander on all issues affecting the readiness, morale, welfare, safety, training, and professional development of the group’s eight squadrons and over 750 personnel. The 43rd Air Mobility Operations Group provides support to the XVIII Airborne Corps, 82d Airborne Division, Joint Special Operations Command, and the 2900 Airmen and civilians across four Major Commands stationed at Pope Army Airfield. The Group is prepared to meet short-notice, humanitarian, and worldwide mobility taskings to secure national objectives and executes over 30 percent of all Joint Airborne and Air Transportability Training missions flown by Air Mobility Command in support of the United States Army. Furthermore, the Group provides combatant commanders with Airborne Joint Forcible Entry, combat airlift, aerial port, command and control, as well as other enabling capabilities.
 
Chief Brammer entered the Air Force in November 1996. His background includes various duties in aircraft maintenance and the enlisted aviation arena at both the squadron and group levels. These duties include Group Senior Enlisted Leader, Chief Enlisted Manager, Squadron Superintendent, Operations Superintendent, Additional Duty First Sergeant, Deployed Joint Task Force Senior Enlisted Advisor, Superintendent Operations Group Standardization and Evaluations, and Superintendent of Group Staff. Chief Brammer has deployed numerous times in support of Operations SOUTHERN WATCH, JOINT FORGE, JOINT GUARD, UNIFIED ASSISTANCE, ENDURING FREEDOM, NEW DAWN, and INHERENT RESOLVE. He has amassed over 4,600 hours of aircraft flight time including over 1,650 hours of combat and combat support time in multiple aircraft including the C-130E, C-130H, AC-130H, CN-235, and the E-3 Sentry.
