Chief Master Sergeant Scott Seamone currently serves as the Squadron Superintendent for the 21 Special Tactics Squadron, Air Force Special Operations Command, Pope Army Airfield, North Carolina. As the Squadron Senior Enlisted Leader, he serves as the primary advisor to the commander on all matters concerning the mission effectiveness, readiness, training, health, welfare, and morale of the squadron. Special Tactics forces plan, prepare and, when directed, integrate, synchronize, and control the elements of air and space power to execute missions in support of Secretary of Defense objectives.
Chief Master Sergeant Seamone enlisted in the United States Air Force in January 2001. Since completing the Combat Control training pipeline in September 2003, he has served in a multitude of roles within AFSOC, AETC, USINDOPACOM, and USSOCOM. Chief Seamone has planned, executed, and led numerous diverse special operations missions supporting Operations ENDURING FREEDOM, IRAQI FREEDOM, and FREEDOM’S SENTINEL in addition to other sensitive areas around the globe.
