Don’t let the gotchas getcha
-Plug your surge protectors directly into the wall and not each other
-The old brown extension cords you use at home are prohibited.
-If you have a heater, it must be the kind that automatically shuts off if accidentally tipped over.
-Electric outlets must have face plates. You can get these from the help store.
-Microwaves, coffee pots, copier machines, electric heaters, refrigerators, etc. should not be plugged into surge protectors; they must be plugged directly into walls.
-Electrical circuit breaker panel boxes cannot have incomplete legends; everything on breaker boxes must be labeled.
