43d AG Anti-terrorism
The Anti-terrorism office manages the installation Antiterrorism/Force Protection program and serves as the principal advisor to the wing commander on all AT/FP matters. The office develops mitigation actions and countermeasures during increased force protection conditions. The office also prepares Pope Field with an executable anti-terrorism plan and develop readiness exercises to ensure base agencies can respond to threat-based contingencies.

The anti-terrorism office directs, manages and analyzes daily random anti-terrorism measures and leads base-level teams to conduct local vulnerability and physical security assessments; manage base security deficiencies; and are key members and facilitators of the threat and force protection working groups.

43d AG Chaplain
The Chapel Team provides chaplains and enlisted chaplain assistants who help care for the base's highest priority, the people. Chaplains provide pastoral guidance in matters pertaining to religious expression, religious conviction, ethical decision-making, moral reasoning, wedding preparation and more. Religious programs include Catholic and Protestant activities, as well as seasonal special activities and worship opportunities. Other faith group members may contact the chapel for information on locations and contacts for other faith groups.

43d AG Command Post
The Command Post supports peacetime and combat Global Reach for America by preparing, launching and recovering all aircraft that travel through Pope Air Force Base, day and night. Command Post professionals provide command and control to orchestrate the wing mission, operating state-of-the-art voice data communication systems to receive, process and disseminate information, exercising command authority across functional lines to efficiently manage Air Mobility Command and Air Force-wide resources. Both in times of peace and increased tension, the Pope Command Post is the hub of information circulated throughout the base. Networked through a host of other base command and control agencies, the Command Post works with law enforcement, fire department, base operations, the hospital and other departments to make an accurate assessment of base functions to report directly to the wing commander.

43d AG Comptroller Squadron
The 43d AW Comptroller Squadron is responsible for funds accounting and budget planning, programming, execution and analysis. The Comptroller Squadron provides customer service to all wing and tenant units to include financial training and education. The squadron also supports AMC worldwide mobility requirements through funds disbursement, travel order processing and deployment of personnel.

43d AG Equal Employment Opportunity
The Civilian Equal Employment Opportunity office assists the installation commander in promoting an environment free from discrimination based on an individual's race, color, religion, national origin, sex, age and mental or physical handicap. The EEO staff contributes to mission readiness by providing a full range of services designed to ensure that employees and applicants are treated fairly, equitably, with respect and dignity and are evaluated only by individual merit and capability.

Primary emphasis is to provide quality program management and advisory service in areas pertaining to EEO, human relations climate assessments, mediation and diversity management with education and training as an advocate of complaint prevention, resolving complaints at the lowest possible level.

43d AG Military Equal Opportunity
The Military Equal Opportunity office is the focal point for programs to ensure all military members and their families are provided equal opportunity and treatment regardless of their race, color, religion, national origin or sex. Sexual Harassment Awareness Education, Effective Communication, and Cultural Diversity are just a few of the many classes provided for Team Pope to enable everyone to thrive in a positive human relations climate.

43d AG Plans and Programs
The Plans and Programs office provides Pope Air Force Base with executable contingency plans and realistic readiness evaluations, ensuring base agencies can respond to any global contingency. This division also provides the wing operations security officer and is the Arms Control/Counter Proliferation point of contact.

43d AG Public Affairs
The Public Affairs office has three major areas of responsibility: internal information, media relations and community relations. Through these three areas, they ensure that both the Pope Air Force Base community and the general public are kept well informed, and that strong relations are maintained between the 43d Airlift Wing and the local community. From producing a base newspaper to maintaining the public Web site, as well as providing information to local, national and international media outlets, the public affairs staff reviews and approves information that can be released to openly and accurately communicate with the base's various publics.

43d AG Safety Office
The wing Safety Office has the primary responsibility of increasing readiness through a progressive mishap prevention program, emphasizing leadership, education and mishap reporting. By reducing hazards and protecting resources, the Safety Office ensures risk is effectively managed at the appropriate level for all personnel. Their goal is to promote an "aggressively safe" attitude for all Pope Team members.

43d AG Sexual Assault Resource Center
The mission of the Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Program is to give military victims of sexual assault an avenue to seek help and maintain confidentiality in reporting the incident/s in a safe and less intrusive process. A restricted report may be reported only to the SARC or health care provider by an active duty or Reserve component member. This allows a sexual assault victim to receive medical treatment and counseling without triggering an investigation. Trained victim advocates are available for crisis intervention, referrals and on-going support as well as accompaniments to medical appointments and investigative interviews if requested. The program also provides education and awareness of sexual assault issues. The SARC is available 24/7 to respond to calls of sexual assault.

43d AG Staff Judge Advocate/Law Center
The Law Center provides professional legal support and advice to command and other staff agencies on a variety of issues, including military justice, contracts, labor, environmental and operations law. In addition, servicemembers and their families and military retirees, can receive personal legal assistance on civil matters. Personal civil matters include questions about wills, domestic matters and consumer issues. The Law Center also processes claims for damage to, or loss of, household goods and other personal property during permanent change of station or temporary duty shipments and vandalism occurring on base.
