Public Affairs provides location photography for official events. Customers are asked to submit requests as soon as possible to ensure deconfliction of schedule and manpower can be allocated. Last minute requests coverage will be assessed by Public Affairs availability, 

Process:

• Customers will submit an Air Force Form 833 (Multimedia Request) to public affairs org box  pope.wing.publicaffairs@us.af.mil. Customers are requested to provide general information about the event (who, what, where, when and why)
• Public Affairs will assess request and provide response positive or negative in regard to coverage
• Public Affairs will document event and return product aligned with employment plan. 

Public Affairs has the authority to authorize photography on the Pope Army Airfield flightline. Requests are exclusive to official need and will be evaluated per request. Requestors are asked to reach out to Public Affairs via email pope.wing.publicaffairs@us.af.mil or phone 910-394-2357. 

Last minute requests may not be granted. 

Studio photography is by appointment only and available for official portraits as required by AFI as well as applications for special duty assignments, official passports, and citizenship applications. Chain-of-command studio photography will be provided for leadership at the squadron-level and above (commander, deputy/vice commander, senior enlisted leader, and first sergeant) as well as quarterly and annual award winners at the group-level and above.

• Appointments should be made using our Setmore calendar system here. Appointments are booked for up to six weeks in advance. If the appointments are booked, and you require an official portrait, please call us and we’ll work to assist you as best we can. We do ask that you give us at least five duty days to work with you on this.
• If you require a photo for awards, it must be at least a squadron level award or higher. If there are any questions or requests outside of this, please call our customer service team for consideration.​
