Pope Legal Office

The Pope Army Airfield Legal Office provides support on matters that commonly affect military members to:

  • Active duty service members of any military branch
  • Retirees
  • Dependents of active duty members or retirees
  • Reservists or Guardsmen on active duty orders (must present orders)
  • Department of Defense civilians preparing to deploy (must present orders)

The Legal Office also advises Commanders and First Sergeants regarding military discipline. Airmen needing advice regarding a military discipline matter should contact the Area Defense Counsel at 910-394-4423.

Wills, Power of Attorney, Advanced Medical Directive

The most efficient way to complete a power of attorney, and to save time during your office visit:

  1. Complete corresponding worksheets on the Air Force Legal Assistance website.
  2. Click on Legal Worksheets.
  3. Create the document(s) needed.
  4. Write down your case sensitive ticket number. Document(s) cannot be retrieved without a ticket number.  
  5. Schedule an appointment using ticket number.

For a will and advanced medical directive, email 43AMOG.JA.LegalAssistance@us.af.mil for the most updated will worksheet. Once the worksheet is completed, schedule an appointment with the Legal Office.
