U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Julian Tanore, an aerospace propulsion journeyman assigned to the 43rd Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, reviews C-130H Hercules aircraft technical orders prior to airborne operations during the 17th Annual Randy Oler Memorial Operation Toy Drop on Dec. 6 at Green Ramp, Pope Army Airfield, Fort Bragg, North Carolina. Operation Toy Drop is the world’s largest combined airborne operation where Soldiers donate a toy to receive a lottery ticket number that are then randomly drawn for an opportunity to train and jump with foreign jumpmasters over Sicily Drop Zone. Foreign jumpmasters from Poland, Italy, Latvia, Germany, Indonesia and the Netherlands participated in this year’s event. Last year, Operation Toy Drop collected more than 12,000 toys that were donated to local charities and organizations across North Carolina. (U.S. Air Force photo/Marvin Krause)
