Pope Airmen join 2017 Fayetteville Veterans Day Parade

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Airmen assigned to Pope Army Airfield walked, drove and rode in Fayetteville's 2017 Veteran's Day Parade Nov. 4, joining communities which surround the base in honoring America's veterans. Here, Tactical Air Control Party, or TAC-P, Airmen from the 18th Air Support Operations Group drive military ATV's through downtown Fayetteville during the parade. The Airmen represented more than 2,000 who are assigned to Pope Field from four different Air Force major commands — Air Mobility Command, Air Combat Command, Air Force Special Operations Command, and Air Education and Training Command.
