This week’s #TeamPopeHighlight is Airman 1st Class Jou Yu Fang, 43rd Comptroller Squadron financial management technician. Fang joined the military to learn English, learn more about America and to become an American citizen. She came to American and stayed with a friend in San Antonio, Texas, and saw what a military lifestyle could provide. Her friends almost convinced her to join the Army. She arrived at Pope and hit the ground running with job training. She is also a part of volunteer programs such as Better Opportunities for Single Soldiers (BOSS). Fang ensures access of BOSS information to Airmen in her squadron. Though she works in finance she is taking steps to ride in an aircraft and possibly jump out of it.
