Pope AFB Hurricane Preparation

Rockin' the Runway

Pope will be opening its gates to the local community to host a free concert. Performers Airiel Down and Perry Howell & the Barn Burners will be opening for Craig Morgan Sept. 17, starting at 4 p.m.

The first performer begins at 5:00 p.m. with Craig Morgan taking the stage at 8:30 p.m. The evening will conclude with a fireworks display around 10:00 p.m.

Lawn chairs and blankets are allowed. Coolers are prohibited. No pets except for service disability animals.

DOD to Resume Restructured Military Spouse Career Program
The Department of Defense has completed the program review and will be making the necessary adjustments to resume the MyCAA program beginning in October 2010.
