Mitchell Polu 14th Air Support Operations Squadron Job description: Tactical Air Command and Control Specialist Date entered military: Jan. 28, 1998 Reason entered military: I can't pinpoint one reason, but I know why I re-enlisted: I felt I needed to do more --to be out there with the guys to my left and right. Who has been the most influential person in your career? My friends and family -- I measure my success through them. Short term goals: To continue being proficient at my job and continue schooling. Long term goals: I'm newly wed, so I want to try to keep the Mrs. happy. What is your favorite thing about Pope, and why? We're a small community. When it comes to career progression and things of that nature, networking helps out when you can put a face to a name. If you could change one thing about Pope, what would it be, and why? I've been here a little over five months and the going has been good. I'm not sure if that will change in the near future, but being optimistic has worked out for me so far.
