Date entered military: May 23, 2006 Reason entered military: To become a firefighter, serve my country and attain the resources to earn a college education. Who has been the most influential person in your career? My parents and my wife. They tell me every day how proud they are of me for going after my dream. Short term goals: To continue to earn more credits toward my bachelor's degree in Fire Science Technology. Long term goals: To use my certifications and education to continue my firefighting career with the Denver Fire Department back home in Colorado. What do you think is the best thing about Pope, and why? The amount of family oriented activities on base. Its wonderful that there are lots of things for my wife and kids to be involved in while I am at work. If you could change one thing about Pope, what would it be, and why? I would like to have an indoor pool at the gym so I could swim all year long.
