Please note that the punishments are determined based on the individual facts and circumstances of each case. Also, a suspended punishment occurs when a commander delays imposing all or any portion of a punishment. This provides both an observation period and an incentive for good behavior as the suspended punishment can be imposed at a later date if the member's misconduct continues. June A senior airman from the 21st Special Tactics Squadron received an Article 15 for wrongful use of Adderall, a controlled substance. The punishment was a reduction to the grade of airman first class and a reprimand. A senior airman from the 3rd Aerial Port Squadron received an Article 15 for consuming alcohol while under the legal age of 21. The punishment was a reduction to the grade of airman first class and a reprimand. An airman first class from the 43rd Civil Engineer Squadron received an Article 15 for having a paintball gun in his dormitory room and allowing a guest to stay overnight in his dormitory room. The punishment was a reduction to the grade of airman basic and a reprimand. An airman first class from the 43rd Civil Engineer Squadron received an Article 15 for driving while drunk. The punishment was a reduction to the grade of airman and a reprimand. An airman first class from the 3rd Aerial Port Squadron received an Article 15 for damaging a privately owned vehicle. The punishment was a suspended reduction to the grade of airman, with the suspension being subject to the additional condition that restitution be made to the owner in the amount of $554.02, 30 days extra duty, and a reprimand. An airman first class from the 43rd Medical Operations Squadron received an Article 15 for driving while drunk. The punishment was a reduction to the grade of airman and a reprimand. July A staff sergeant from the 43rd Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron received an Article 15 for misuse use of the Government Travel Card. The punishment was a suspended reduction to the grade of senior airman, forfeiture of $100.00 pay per month for two months, 19 days extra duty, and a reprimand. An airman first class from the 3rd Aerial Port Squadron received an Article 15 for driving while drunk. The punishment was a reduction to the grade of airman and a reprimand. An airman first class from the 3rd Aerial Port Squadron received an Article 15 for wrongful use of Oxycodone, a controlled substance. The punishment was a reduction to the grade of airman and a reprimand. August An airman first class from the 43rd Force Support Squadron received an Article 15 for using a government issued long distance pin number to make personal phone calls. The punishment was a suspended reduction to the grade of airman, forfeiture of $50.00 pay, restriction to the limits of Pope for 30 days, and a reprimand. An airman from the 43rd Force Support Squadron received an Article 15 for consuming alcohol while under the legal age of 21 and making a false official statement. The punishment was a reduction to the grade of airman basic, a suspended forfeiture of $50.00 pay per month for two months, restriction to the limits of Pope for 30 days, and a reprimand. A senior airman from the 43rd Aircraft Maintenance Squadron received an Article 15 for making a false official statement. The punishment was a reduction to the grade of airman first class and a reprimand.
