Jamell Camper 43rd Communications Squadron Job description: Manage the Pope Official Mail Program as the base Official Mail Manager. Date you entered the military: March 27, 2001 Reason you entered the military: To serve my country and better my life Who has been the most influential person in your career? Melvin Snerling Short term goals: To obtain my Community College Air Force degree in my previous career field as well as my current and begin working towards a Bachelor's degree Long term goals: To complete at least 20 years of service and become a Chief Master Sergeant What do you think is the best thing about Pope, and why? The location. My first duty station was at Minot Air Force base, N.D., which was a great assignment with the exception of not having a lot to do. The local community lacked variety in terms of dining and entertainment. The location here is much better and it's close to everything. If you could change one thing about Pope, what would it be, and why? Having a traveling base basketball team but mainly the Reilly Road gate.
