In memory of Tech. Sgt. Corola Duckett, June 13, 1970 – Dec. 2, 2006

"The 43rd Maintenance Squadron was greatly saddened when we received notification Tech. Sgt. Corola Duckett had lost her long struggle with cancer," said Lt. Col. George Mitchell, 43rd Maintenance Squadron commander. "She will be sincerely missed as an invaluable member of Team Pope. Our hope is that she and her family finds peace."

She is survived by her husband Master Sgt. Jeffery Duckett and her daughter, Alicia.
Sergeant Duckett was an Aerospace Ground Equipment craftsman.

Sergeant Duckett planned and organized maintenance activities of more than 400 pieces of ground equipment used on the C-130E aircraft, A-10 aircraft and transient aircraft. She was responsible for dispatch and positioning AGE on the flight line to support maintenance and flying operations.

She supervised and trained 22 individuals in the performance of scheduled, acceptance and special inspections, time compliance technical orders (TCTO), major and minor maintenance.

Sergeant Duckett was born in Berlin, Germany on June 13, 1970. She enlisted in the Air Force Aug. 8, 1988 and arrived at Pope March 25, 2004.
