On Sept. 11-12, 2022, the U.S. Air Force Expeditionary Center Commander, Maj. Gen. John Klein, and the U.S. Air Force Expeditionary Center Command Chief, Chief Master Sgt. Courtney Freeman, visited the 43d Air Mobility Operations Group at Pope Army Airfield.

The focus of the visit was on command team synchronization, the Joint Mass Brief (JMB) leading into Battalion Mass Tactical Week (BMTW), and the 43d Air Mobility Operations Group mission in support of Air Mobility Command and Rapid Global Mobility.

Briefers from the 43d Operations Support Squadron, the 43d Force Support Squadron, the 43d Medical Squadron, and the 43d Air Mobility Squadron provided inside perspectives on the importance of their duties and how they play a key role in the success of the multiple mission-sets at Pope.
