Students at Pope Elementary School celebrated Fat Tuesday Feb. 13, by hosting a "Strutter's Ball." Thirty-one students decorated umbrellas and competed for awards such as "Most Colorful" and "Most Froo Froo." The Parent and Teacher Organization has raised $647 for a New Orleans elementary school and sold baked goods at the celebration to add to that amount.
