U.S. and U.K. mobility Airmen put the “Air” in Airborne during multinational exercise

Air Force Capt. Ryan Lewkowicz, a C-130J Super Hercules pilot from the 40th Airlift Squadron, Dyess AFB, Texas, preflights his aircraft during a Combined Joint Operational Access Exercise 15-01 sortie. CJOAX 15-01 is an 82nd Airborne Division-led bilateral training event at Fort Bragg, N.C., from April 13-20, 2015. This is the largest exercise of its kind held at Fort Bragg in nearly 20 years and demonstrates interoperability between U.S. and U.K. Army soldiers and U.S. Air Force, Air National Guard, Royal Air Force Airmen and U.S. Marines.
