Coining Pope's Finest: Anna Johnson

POPE AIR FORCE BASE, N.C. --  Col. James Johnson, 43rd Airlift Wing Commander, presented his Commander's Coin to Anna Johnson, 43rd Force Support Squadron, June 29, for her exceptional performance beyond the call of duty.

Ms. Johnson is a graphic designer for the 43rd FSS marketing department, where she develops marketing and advertising materials for media publications. As part of her job, she writes, edits, copies and adds artistic appeal to publications. Ms. Johnson also photographs and records services programs for historical uses.

Ms. Johnson's artistic workings have been displayed across base. Most recently, Ms. Johnson designed the Team Pope logo, which captures the spirit of the partnership between the Air Force and Army.

Off duty, Ms. Anna Johnson is very active in her church and volunteers as a leader for her college ministry as well as children's ministry programs throughout the year.
