“ALIVE AT 25” Course Offered Published Aug. 21, 2009 43rd Airlift Wing POPE AIR FORCE BASE, N.C. -- Traffic accidents are a leading cause of death among teens and North Carolina ranks among the highest in the nation for fatal vehicle accidents. To help give teens the tools to mitigate risks they will face as young drivers, the Pope Safety Center is offering the nationally renowned Alive at 25 defensive driving course to teens on Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Pope Safety Center Classroom (Building 900, Suite 108). This course is open to military and family members and focuses on back-to-school teens between the ages of 14 and 19. Advance registration is required by calling the Pope Safety Center at 394-8370/8389 by Thursday.
