Hanna could also cause tornado activity in the area as well. Pope residents should ensure they have canned food, bottled water, batteries for flashlights and radios , and any necessary medicines in place before the storm's arrival. They should also begin storing any loose items inside their house or garage to prevent them from becoming projectiles during high wind conditions. Stayed tuned to local media outlets for storm updates. Please call the Pope AFB Public Affairs office at (910) 394-4183 with any questions.
