AFCEA Scholarship Presentation

Maj. Brad Barnhart, Commander of Pope’s 43rd Communications Squadron, and 43rd Airlift Wing Command Chief Master Sgt. Michael Grimm, present a scholarship check for $2,000 to Casey Shutt May 29 at the Fort Bragg Officer’s Club. The scholarships were courtesy of the North Carolina chapter of the Armed Forces Communication and Electronics Association, of which Major Barnhart is the acting president. Casey, who is graduating from Cape Fear High School this June, is the daughter of an Army lieutenant colonel stationed at Fort Bragg and one of 10 scholarship recipients.
