I load and unload cargo from aircraft. Date entered military: Aug. 2, 2005 Reason entered military: To get my college paid for and to try something new. Most influential in career: Growing up I've had a lot of different ideas as to what I'd do for a career. Every time I had a new "plan" my mom always had great insight to show me the good and the bad in each. She's always emphasized the importance of education, but still wanted me to do something that makes me happy. Short-term goals: Get as much of my degree done before I get out. Long-term goals: Finish school, get out of the Air Force and move closer to my family, because I miss them so much. What is the best thing about Pope, and why: The unique mission. Not every base gets to support as many Army troops as us. We make a big difference. If you could change one thing at Pope, what would it be, and why: Pick up the pace. I would love to see the base and surrounding cities be a lot busier.
