POPE AIR FORCE BASE, N.C. --  Q: My teenager is driving me crazy and won't listen to a word I say. Is there any advise on dealing with this type of situation?

A: You're in luck, because we have a program to assist you. Teenagers can test the patience of any parent at the best of times. Please know that it's all part of normal development, and kids are learning to become independent. The "7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens" is a great place for your kids to get some sound guidance from our professional staff. It's offered quarterly by the Family Advocacy Program. Our next class is offered Dec. 29, to allow our teens to attend during the holiday break. Please call 394-4700 for more details - we'll be glad to help you out!
