Ask the Doc Published Dec. 8, 2006 By 43rd Medical Group POPE AIR FORCE BASE, N.C. -- Q: I was seen in the emergency room at Womack Army Medical Center and was provided with an Army profile for my condition. How do I have this profile converted to an Air Force profile? A: You need to take your Army profile paperwork to the 43rd Medical Group for conversion to an AF profile. If you are enrolled to the Primary Care Clinic, the best time to accomplish this is during active duty sick call check-in hours Monday through Friday between 7 and 7:30 a.m. If your PCM is available, your profile will be generated while you wait. If your PCM is busy with acutely ill patients, you will be asked to drop off your profile and your PCM team will contact you later that same day to have you pick up your new profile. If you are enrolled in flight medicine, please present to their sick call Monday through Friday, 7 to 7:50 a.m. or 1 to 1:50 p.m. Please send your questions to askthedoc@pope.af.mil. We look forward to hearing from you!
