Report spam Published Dec. 7, 2006 POPE AIR FORCE BASE, N.C. -- Have you received unwanted solicitations either to your e-mail or organizational e-mail box? Are you tired of receiving SPAM at your Pope e-mail address? There is something you can do about it. AMC is using the IronMail program designed to limit the amount of SPAM sent to AMC bases. In order for it to work, Enterprise Messaging needs your help. They have created the report.spam@amc.af.mil mailbox for AMC users to safely relay spam messages. By doing so, messages are dropped before ever coming to the exchange servers. To correctly report spam, this is what you need to do: - Open the original message - Click on File and select Save As - Select Desktop from the left hand side of the window - From the Save As Type select Outlook Message Format (*.msg) - Click the Save - Drag and drop the saved message from your desktop into a new message and send it to report.spam@amc.af.mil. If you have questions regarding this program, please call the Information Protection Operations (IPO) Office at 394-2150.
