Team Pope wraps up annual CFC Published Dec. 7, 2006 By Senior Airman Cassandra Locke Editor POPE AIR FORCE BASE, N.C. -- Pope's Combined Federal Campaign drive is coming to an end Tuesday. Pope brought in more than $203,500 and met 107 percent of its goal. "Team Pope, at week five of the CFC has surpassed its monetary goal through your generosity and collective efforts," said Capt. Stella Garcia, CFC project manager. "As your wing CFC representative, I want to personally thank you for a job well done." The six-week campaign afforded the opportunity for federal workers to give donations to a variety of organizations and causes, through cash, check, direct donation or the payroll deduction method. Some of the charities that received donations were: - Animal Welfare Institute - Cancer Curing Society - Center for Victims of Torture - The Family Violence and Sexual Assault Institute - Food for the Poor - La Leche League International - Leukemia and Lymphoma Society - The National Headache Foundation - Puppies Behind Bars For more information on how to contribute, call Capt.
