Ask the Doc Published Oct. 19, 2006 POPE AIR FORCE BASE, N.C. -- Q: Can I send my troops home when they get sick, or do they need to report to the Clinic to be put on quarters? A: You, as the supervisor, can send your subordinate home for the day if they have cold or flu-like symptoms. Use your common sense. This will help cut down on the spread of the disease to others in your work center. However, if they are using over the counter medications and/or not seeing any improvement within 24 to 72 hours, they need to call the appointment desk at 394-4258 to make an appointment. Please send your questions to askthedoc@pope.af.mil. We look forward to hearing from you!
