Airman 1st Class Keith Deshawn Penn

The 43rd Maintenance Squadron joins together in deepest sympathy for the loss of a squadron family member this past Labor Day weekend. Airman 1st Class Keith Deshawn Penn was driving north on Interstate 95 Sept. 1 when his vehicle lost control in the storm, causing this tragedy.

Keith was a quiet, soft spoken person who got his point across in his music. He played and sang and shared his talents with others. Keith was a valuable team player, working in aerospace ground equipment, who was always ready to lend a hand or share his knowledge.

Keith's helpful nature was one of his outstanding characteristics. There will be a viewing at Saint Paul Temple, Church of God in Christ, 3420 16th Street North East, Washington D.C. from 9 to 11 a.m. on Saturday with his funeral immediately following.
